The LCMS Foundation was created in 1958 by the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod to provide Christian estate planning services to LCMS members and help ministries invest or endow the gifts members leave in their wills or estate plans.

We continue this today by offering:

  1. Planned Giving Services: We assist LCMS members in planning how their God-given assets—such as retirement accounts, homes, or land—can make a lasting impact on both the people they love and the ministries they care about.

  2. Investment Services for Ministries: We help LCMS ministries be good stewards of the gifts they receive, pooling assets from hundreds of ministries to provide access to attentive investment services typically reserved for large corporations.
